Wild Animals!

Well, it was Wild Animal Day at my day job! I had planned to wear my cheetah skirt and instead on a headband with ears, I decided to put together this pretty little piece.

Then I thought about wearing something a little smaller and made this one...

Next I decided to wear my zebra patterned shirt... and created this headband.. .

Then I decided to wear snake! So here are my

You'll fall in love....

Orange flower with bling
I am really loving the simplicity of headbands. It's such a sweet adornment for both girls and women. The only thing is... it leads me to wishing the munchkin had more hair to wear them everyday. You'll Fall in Love  was created with a beautiful orange rust colored silk flower, with rhinestones in the center that help to dress it up. The matching elastic is 1/4". I sized it for a toddler. But I'm thinking about making one my size for Thanksgiving. If I do I'll be sure to update this post with my pic!

This white Zippy Clippy is attached to a partially lined single prong alligator clip. It can be worn separately or attached to a crochet headband or a skinny stretch headband.

Zipper Band

I couldn't get a good shot of this one in the munchkins hair. she kept moving. I love the zippered flowers. But unlike to one I posted like week, this zippered flower is attached to black elastic that has a shiny shimmering silver thread throughout. I just may wear this to work tomorrow. I'll retake the photos so you can get a better look at the elastic... it's too cute.

If it's got to be leopard...

Please excuse me with the pictures as I get used to my new NIKON!!!!! I got the Coolpix L120 as an anniversary gift and I just LOVE taking pictures with it. If it's got to be leopard... I love it in pink. This pink leopard flower is not made with felt. The flower is attached to a 1/4 inch hot pink elastic.

Lil Lady in Red

Lil Lady in Red... choose to wear a combination or single hair accessory. The flower clips comes in two options... the red fabric flower or the red daisy. Each is attached to an alligator clip (the fabric flower is attached to a double and the daisy is attached to a single). What I love about hair flowers is they can be attached to the headband or worn alone. I am not one for mixing red unless it is with a pattern but I chose a red 1.5" crochet headband.

If you look closely in the daisy you can see my reflection. LOL!!

Sunshine Sunday

Sunshine Sunday! I thought I would create a sweet sunny hair accessory for today. It's a yellow felt flower attached to a yellow band. I am not sure of the elastic size. This something that i think works for girls, teens and adults. I don't have anything in particular that I can wear but who knows its spring time and I just may wear this on myself!!!

I Felt Rounded!

So... I decided to try something different. I created a rounded flower out of felt and added some bling to the center. Then I attached it to a silver headband. The picture doesn't do it justice. I actually really like this... I Felt Rounded!

Chelsea

Day 42
This headband with attached bow is for my Chelsea. It's part of a late birthday gift with other hair accessories. I adore this pink and black damask ribbon. I attached some 1/8" black korker for the center. The bow is attached to black elastic.

Flower Child

"If at first you don't succeed, try, try, and try again." I am diligently working on this twisted bow. It's been a month since I started my bow making endeavor and I am learning a lot more than just how to make hair accessories. It is so important to not give up. If it's not working take a break from it but DON'T give up. I just reminded myself of the Yo Gabba Gabba... "don't stop.. don't give up" song.
Well enough inspiration, let's get to the bow!

I created a twisted bow using 7/8" ribbon. My Flower Child is modeling the bow that I attached with a solid pink 3/8" grosgrain ribbon to a pink headband.
She's still wearing it as I type so I take it that she likes it!

Bow bye,
